Temporis Sensus is an interactive sound and light installation based on the analogy between senses and sensors in the case of sensing time. How does our perception of time differ from the real time of a technological item computer? Is our time sense affected by where we are positioned in space? Can we break the rigid rhythm of the machines and make it more human?
In a dark room, a few light beams highlight the space enveloped with a digital hum and a mechanical tick. Visitors can explore their perception of time through their movements by interacting with the light. Recordings from an ecological soundscape incrementally appear and reduce the mechanical.
Temporis Sensus asks for a collective approach to reveal the transition from the constructed to the organic by leaving its audience in sync with natural rhythms of life.
